My eyes flew open and sat up with a jolt. I was in a dimly light room sitting on a chair at a small table and another person sitting across the table with a bag over their head. I frowned as I tried to remember how I got there, but only got a small headache.

‘Damn it all,’ I thought to myself as I got up from the chair. I tried to be silent as I can, don’t want loud noises upsetting or waking the other person, who knows what they could do.

I noticed a door and made my way to it and then I noticed it was padlocked.

“Fuck!” I cursed under my breath. I heard slight movement behind me, I turned to see the other person slightly moving, but something else caught my eye. It was a gun and a folded piece of paper.

I slowly picked the folded paper up, glancing at the other person and back down to the paper. I unfolded it with ease, and then I grew tense as I started to read what was written on this piece of paper:

Greetings Rabbit
I know you weren’t doing much, so how about we play a game!
A game inside a game, HAHA, funny right?
I was getting bored just watching you run around
It’s pretty simple
See that gun? 2 options!
1.Shoot your fried and save everyone
2. Don’t shoot them and everyone else dies
This should be interesting.
MW-

“Another game, huh?” I grimaced as I placed the paper back on the table and glanced at the gun, then towards the other person. The gears in my head started to turn, “It couldn’t be…”

I can hear the blood rushing through my head and my heart beating loudly as I walked over to the other side of the table and stood beside the other person. I grabbed the bag covering their face and counted to three.

“1…2…3!” I hastily pulled the bag off and my eyes went wide with shock. There, sitting on the chair, was my best friend, Girosumi.

I took a step back, “No…”

The girls eyes fluttered open, “where..?” she glanced around the room tiredly till she caught sight of me, “Momo!?” her head started to turn frantically, “Where am I?! What are we doing here?!”

I said nothing but hugged her; I haven’t seen her ever since I started this game. Girosumi calmed down and came to her senses as she pushed me back and stared right into my eyes.

“Where have you been?”

“I’m not sure myself,” I replied to her, shaking my head.

“We’ve been kidnapped!?” she yelped.

“Yes,” I wasn’t sure what to tell her that we were actually inside a twisted game hosted by this guy calling himself Mister Wolf.

“Momo?”

“Yes?”

“Is that a gun?”

I glance back over to the table where the gun and the note lay, “Yes,”

“There’s a piece of paper here,” she tried to reach for the note, but I stopped her. She glances at me questionly.

“It’s for me,” I told her, I didn’t want her to read it, to know what I might have to do. She glares at me and continues to reach for the paper. I, too, reached for the paper, but she has always been a bit quicker then I as she snatched it away right before I could take it.

I watched her as her eyes dart back and forth reading each word. Her hands started to shake and her eyes closed as she handed the paper to me, “do it,”

My eyes widen, was she really telling me to…kill her?!

She tilted her head back up and her eyes, her eyes were not filled with fear.

“I know you will still do it even I didn’t say it, you not the type of person to let one person loose and everyone will suffer the consequences. Momo let this be the last thing I ask from you and…come find me when you are gone also…”

I couldn’t stop it, my tears from falling. I could hear the silent plops as the droplets of water hit the ground, “ok,”

Girosumi sat in her normal position in the chair and started to talk, “You know Momo, you never let anyone but me see you cry…it doesn't fit your personality at all!” she kept on chatting as I picked up the gun and set it up. I walked behind her.

“And you know how my mom always gets angry at my uncle for buying those weird Robot models? Well…”

BANG

It was a clean shot through the head.

My hand fell to my side, still gripping the gun. My tears had already stopped flowing, but I knew I was still torn up inside. Yes, even if she didn’t tell me to kill, I would have still done it. One life to save the others, not a very hard thing to do in some cases.

I heard a soft click. As I turned to look at the door, the padlock was now unlocked. I slowly walked over and faced the door.

“FUCK YOU!! I suddenly screamed. I angrily tore the door open and stormed out. I turned to glance once more at my friend, but stopped in my tracks. There in the chair my friend had sat in, was a dummy.

“An illusion?!” I spat out. I cocked the gun and aimed it once again at the dummy, trying to shoot it again, but there were no extra bullets. I threw the gun at the dummy’s head and kicked the wall, “Damn it all!”

After a few more kicks she quieted down and smiled, “So, this is what this game truly feels like?”
